Based on the bible, Bible is the best book. A session to encourage the sharing of favourite story books before exploring the best book together – the Bible!

Christopher’s Perfect Christmas
Based on John, life to the full. A snowman receives unhelpful gifts until a mouse gives him a new heart, which is just what he needs to bring real life and adoration.

The Queen Ant’s Feast
Based on Mark, let the children come to me. Three hardworking ants overcome discouragement to bring a welcome gift to their Queen. They learn they are accepted despite their size!

The Birthday Balloons
Based in Luke, parable of the lost coin. A little girl loses the coins she’s saved for her birthday balloons. She is thrilled to find them after searching high and low.

Forget the Feathers and Fly
Based on Matthew, do not worry. A worried peachick learns to trust his parent, to stop focusing on feathers and to discover his freedom by flying.

Day Sixty-Six: North Pole
Based on Revelation, a great multitude from every nation. On neutral territory, the family are reunited with all the characters from the other stories and together they see the Northern Lights. Dad wishes he’d written a diary of their adventure but finds a Bible from his local church in his pocket instead. They realise this is an adventure that will continue back home.

Day Sixty-Five: Sweden
Based on Jude, stop us from stumbling and present us perfect. The Swedish tradition of Fika requires us to pause and reflect but Grandma struggles with busyness until an accident means she’s made to stop.

Day Sixty-Four: Finland
Based on 3 John, even though they are strangers. The family visit a Finnish sauna and learn that everyone is welcome despite differences in age, culture and background.

Day Sixty-Three: Norway
Based on 2 John, walk in love. While joining a Sami reindeer journey, a calf wanders off until the herders quietly call it back, teaching the family about walking obediently in love.

Day Sixty-Two: Denmark
Based on 1 John, this is love. While at a Nordmaan Fir Christmas tree farm the family learn about sacrificial love when they see an enormous Christmas tree cut down.

Day Sixty-One: Scotland
Based on 2 Peter, the Lord is patient not slow. While at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Leo is impatient and gets lost until the family find him and remind him how important it is to stay close.
