TBT’s COVID-19 response

by | Apr 9, 2020 | News | 0 comments

Here at TBT, we’re pretty good at bringing people together for a purpose and we’re relentless at reminding everyone that they belong. So just because we may not be able to actually enter care homes at the moment doesn’t mean we give up! In fact, we have developed a whole selection of new and adapted activities for families and care home residents that bring that same joy, hope and life to everyone, just as before. Here is an infographic that gives you an idea of what we’re up to, look through the website for more info and please do get in touch.

How we’ve adapted to COVID-19

We want to actually be with one another, in the same room, enjoying a storytelling group, but this isn’t always going to be possible and we can’t let physical restrictions stop the joy and life of being family together. And so now there are different activities available to facilitate our purpose such as pen-pal style craft, Zoom sessions, car park groups and adapted face-to-face sessions. The activity available will vary from week to week depending on how practicable it is to be in close physical proximity with care home residents but you can be certain that it will be high-quality and worthwhile.
